NCBS Information Booth At Festivals & Concerts Connects Bluegrass Fans With Upcoming Events
Like other bluegrass organizations and event promoters, the Northern California Bluegrass Society runs a booth at area festivals and concerts. Unlike others, the NCBS booth has complete information about all upcoming bluegrass events, whether staged by NCBS or by other organizations or promoters.
Bluegrass fans can visit the NCBS booth to consult with fellow fans behind the table who have volunteered to provide this important service. NCBS endeavors to stock flyers for most upcoming events and to provide oral information about the rest.
Over the past two decades, bluegrass events in California have developed great variety, appealing to fans with different tastes in music, accommodations and services, and event culture, as well as cost. The decision, made in 1990, to more broadly focus the purpose of the Society’s booth helps area bluegrass fans find events that best meet their individual bluegrass interests.
Bluegrass promoters can send event flyers to Michael Hall, 610 Island Place, Redwood City, CA. 94065 for inclusion in this free NCBS service.
