The new Northern California Bluegrass Society page on the burgeoning Facebook website is loaded with information and is already attracting fans. The new page was approved by the NCBS Board of Directors last month and is managed by NCBS webmaster Stewart Evans and NCBS board member and online guru Mike Russell.

Here is what you need to know, depending on, well, “where you is at” with Facebook these days:

Citizens of the Facebook World: The Northern California Bluegrass Society now has a Facebook page. Your fanship is invited.

Citizens of the Real World: Facebook is a wildly popular social networking website <www.facebook.com>. It is free, fun, and available at an internet near your home (After you join Facebook, you will never need to leave your home again, except to purchase food and attend bluegrass events.)  Once you are a Facebook member, you type “Northern California Bluegrass Society” into the search box, click on the “fan” button, and you will suddenly feel very connected and very, very social. Enjoy!
