Laurie Lewis Rocks The House In Mountain View
Laurie Lewis played everything from bluegrass standards to her own originals Saturday night at a well-attended, well-received NCBS-sponsored Redwood Bluegrass Associates concert in Mountain View. But the biggest crowd reaction came from her performance of the heavy metal standard “Kiss Me Now, Before I Die.” The audience sang along with Laurie and her band, the The Right Hands, in a touching, all-acoustic performance of “Who Will Watch The Home Place.” The show ended the 2008-09 RBA season. The 19-year-old series will return in the fall. The NCBS has helped out with all RBA concerts since 1995.
