A crowd of Aromas citizens and out-of-towners enjoyed a late Sunday afternoon concert of folk music at the local Grange Hall on June 14. Alisa Fineman and Kimball Hurd performed a wide-ranging set list of original folk, traditional folk, Jewish tunes, and a Muslim song. The duo had the audience singing along on many tunes. The joint presentation of the NCBS and the Grange benefited a college scholarship fund for Aromas students.
