NCBS Members To Enjoy Two Huge Bluegrass Weekends
The next two weekends, nationally and internationally, are the most active on the annual bluegrass calendar. There are major festivals throughout the United States, and in Europe, Canada, and Asia. School is out and it is time to enjoy some music!
But, there is no reason to look far afield for good bluegrass. Fun-loving NCBS members will be out enjoying the big June California festivals. This weekend, most will head for the official “Bluegrass Capitol of California” — Grass Valley, to enjoy the CBA Father’s Day Bluegrass Festival, June 18-21. Others will head to Santa Barbara for the Live Oak Music Festival, June 19-21, and a few will venture south to Huck Finn’s Jubilee, June 19-21 in Victorville. Next weekend, some of our folks will be in Laytonville for the Kate Wolf Memorial Festival, June 26-28, while others will head to Bluegrass For The Greenbelt, June 28 in Oakland.
These are all high-quality, well-run, big name festivals with great bluegrass music. Enjoy!
