Bluegrass For The Greenbelt This Sunday

This Sunday, June 28th, the Greenbelt Alliance holds its 4th annual Bluegrass for the Greenbelt benefit festival at the Dunsmuir-Hellman Historic Estate in Oakland. The concert runs from 11 AM to 6 PM and features two stages of bluegrass music. Appearing on the main stage will be Laurie Lewis & the Right Hands, The Wronglers, the Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band, and The Waybacks. The second stage will feature Nell Robinson & Red Level, Eric & Suzy Thompson, and 49 Special.

The Greenbelt Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicating to preserving open space throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Tickets are $40 and it’s free for children under 12. For full details, click onĀ Greenbelt Alliance.

Three bands on the program, Nell Robinson, 49 Special, and The Wronglers, will also appear in August at the GOF.
