LIVE GOF MUSIC on a Sunday afternoon: NCBS President Michael Hall will have the latest information about the August 7-9, 2009 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival and GOF star performers 49 Special will play live bluegrass music, on “Pig In A Pen” hosted by Ray Edlund on KPFA —  94.1 FM (Bay Area, Central Valley, and most of Northern California) August 2 from 3:00-5:00pm. The show will  also be broadcast on KFCF in Fresno and streamed online.

This hot new San Francisco-based bluegrass band  is just back from their triumphant victory in the prestigious nationwide band competition held each year at the Rockygrass Bluegrass Festival in Lyons, Colorado.  The band will perform on Friday evening at the GOF.
