Northern California Bluegrass Society members may nominate primarily non-touring Northern California bluegrass bands and musicians for the 2010 Northern California Bluegrass Awards through September 20, 2009 at two area festivals. Nomination forms will be available at the NCBS Booth at the September 11-13 Jake’s Brown Barn Bluegrass Festival in San Martin and at the September 18-20 Bluegrassin’ In The Foothills Festival in Plymouth. Members who obtained nomination forms at the Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival may submit them to the NCBS Booth or mail them to: 610 Island Place, Redwood City, CA. 94065.

Second Round and Final Ballots will be mailed to NCBS members over the winter. The Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 13 during the March 11-14, 2010 NCBS Bluegrass On Broadway Festival in Redwood City.

NCBS receives principal financial support for the Northern California Bluegrass Awards and Bluegrass On Broadway from the Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission, the Redwood City Public Library, the Redwood City Friends of the Library, the Peninsula  Christian Center, and Provident Credit Union.
