John Reischman & The Jaybirds will play at an NCBS-sponsored Redwood Bluegrass Associates concert in Mountain View on Saturday, November 14. This Canadian band (with Bay Area connections) gets around — here, they join Mei Han’s traditional Chinese classical ensemble Red Chamber to play the bluegrass tune “Katy Hill” at a 2008 Vancouver concert on YouTube.
