This Saturday evening, November 14th, two Northern California Bluegrass Society events will be held in San Francisco and Mountain View.

The NCBS San Francisco Bluegrass & Old Time Festival Committee will present a Benefit Square Dance For Bill Martin at 7:30pm, at the Swedish American Hall, 2170 Market Street in San Francisco, with two bands, the Water Tower Bucket Boys (Portland, OR.) and the Black Crown String Band (San Francisco). The Dance Caller will be Amy Hofer.

Meanwhile, John Reischman & The Jaybirds will play at an NCBS-sponsored Redwood Bluegrass Associates concert at 8:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Mountain View. The concert will be preceded by a bluegrass jam beginning at 5:00pm.

Bluegrass and Old Time fans will have to choose between these two fine NCBS programs. Enjoy!
