An icon of the Northern California bluegrass community, Yodeling Lady Lolita Ferrell of Hollister, died this morning after a long illness. She enjoyed a long, full life and career as a western swing and bluegrass performer. There will be a celebration of her life during the December 4-5, 2009 NCBS Brookdale Bluegrass Festival (not at the Brookdale Inn & Spa). More details to come  on this website.
