The Peninsula Arts Council has named Masterworks Choral the San Mateo County Arts Organization Of The Year. The Northern California Bluegrass Society was nominated for the honor for the first time for its Bluegrass On Broadway Festival in Redwood City. The other 2010 Diamond Awards winners are: Cindy Zhang, Young Artist; Michael Lederman, Arts Educator; Brooke Knight, Individual Artist; Gail Gandolfi, Arts Volunteer; Gelb Music, Business; South San Francisco, Government; and Lucy Tolmatch, Special Recognition. The 8th annual awards will be presented at a ceremony on January 28 in Redwood City.
