NCBS Bluegrass On Broadway Film Festival Announces Films For March 14, 2010 Event In Redwood City
The Northern California Bluegrass Society has announced the films for the 3rd Annual NCBS International Bluegrass Music Museum Film Festival set for March 14, 2010 as part of the Bluegrass On Broadway Festival. The film festival (and all BOB events) are FREE.
Independent Films:
The New Lost City Ramblers In Always Been A Rambler, by Yasha Aginsky, presented by The Arhoolie Foundation.
The Crooked Jades: Old Time Is Not A Crime, by Jim Swenson & Doug Williford.
The Waltz To Westphalia: The Journey Of An America Fiddle Classic, by Joe Weed.

The NCBS Bluegrass On Broadway Festival is set for March 11-14, 2010 at various venues in historic downtown Redwood City. The film festival will be held on Sunday, March 14, Noon-5:00pm, in the Community Room of the Redwood City Main Library, 1044 Middlefield Road. The festival will open with a Special Presentation on Saturday, March 13, 10:30am, in the Main Hall of the Tapestry Church (formerly, the Peninsula Christian Center), 1305 Middlefield Road.
NCBS’ Bluegrass On Broadway receives principal financial support from the City of Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission, the Redwood City Public Library, and the Tapestry Church (formerly, the Peninsula Christian Center).
