The Smiley Mountain Band is a familiar fixture at the Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, but living up in the Sierras as they do, we in the lowlands don’t see too much of them outside of festival season. This weekend they’ll be down off the mountain to perform at the Plough and Stars in San Francisco on Friday night, and then heading across the bay to McGrath’s Pub in Alameda on Saturday night.
