Laurie Lewis

The Northern California Bluegrass Society will sponsor the PTA Palooza on Friday, May 13, 2011 in Palo Alto. The benefit concert for the Juana Briones Elementary School PTA will feature Laurie Lewis & The Right Hands, Snap Jackson & The Knock On Word Players, and The Tuttles With A. J. Lee. The 7:00pm show will be held at the Spangenberg Theater, 780 Arastradero Road in Palo Alto.

The concert will be part of an exciting weekend for NCBS members and their friends as Redwood Bluegrass Associates has added the David Grisman Bluegrass Experience to its series in another NCBS-sponsored concert the next evening, Saturday, May 14 in Mountain View.

This will be the second year the Briones School PTA organization has presented a bluegrass concert to raise funds for the school’s equipment and supplies. Last year’s show was a big success. Detailed ticket information will be announced soon.
