All You Need To Know To Go To The Johnson Farm Pickin’ Party On Saturday

27538_127487677263041_6744_nFun: For the 11th year, the Abbott Family, the Johnson Family and the Northern California Bluegrass Society will welcome bluegrass and old-time music lovers to the beautiful Johnson Farm for an afternoon of informal jamming.

Date & Time: Saturday, August 27, 2011, Noon-7:00pm.

Cost: FREE.

Weather: Sunny with a few clouds. High 81, Low 54. It will be shady under the trees.

Bring: Your instrument (if you play), a folding chair, and food & drink (if you like).

Who: Players and listeners.

Besides Music: Walking, farm animals, crops, trees, historic exhibits, friends, food, fun.

Directions: The Johnson Farm is located at 16385 Two Bar Road, Boulder Creek, in the Santa Cruz Mountains. 1 mile north of Boulder Creek on Hwy. 9, turn on Two Bar Rd. The Johnson Farm is 1 3/4  miles up on the left.

From Los Gatos: Hwy. 17 South to Scotts Valley.  Take the Mt. Hermon Rd. exit and turn right.  Go all the way into Felton where it dead-ends. Turn right.  Immediately, make another right on Hwy. 9.  Take Hwy. 9 to Boulder Creek. At the stop sign in Boulder Creek, continue on Hwy. 9 for another mile and Two Bar Rd. will be on your right.
