The Northern California Bluegrass Society joins the rest of the known bluegrass world in celebrating the 100th Birthday of Bill Monroe, The Father of Bluegrass Music, on September 13, 2011. There are celebrations aplenty. Here are two of note:

Crowe, Curly Seckler, Bobby Osborne, Everett Lilly, Jesse McReynolds, The Lewis Family, Rodney Dillard, Melvin Goins, Paul Williams, Bill Clifton, Tom Gray, Eddie Adcock, plus other performers). September 12-14, International Bluegrass Music Museum, Owensboro, KY.
