Rob Ickes and Jim Hurst will perform in a Fiddling Cricket Concerts show in Santa Clara at 8:00pm on Friday, December 9, 2011. The Northern California Bluegrass Society is sponsoring this show and NCBS Members will receive a $2 per ticket discount on tickets.

Rob Ikes, the son of Tom & Elida Ickes, is a former member of the NCBS/SCBS and a Millbrae native. Both Ickes (on Dobro) and Hurst (on guitar) have been named the best on their respective instruments by IBMA Awards voters.

Mission City Coffee Roasting Company is a nice music venue located at 2221 The Alameda, near Santa Clara University.
