NCBS Supports Hollister Musical Production Of “Big River” — A Benefit For Bolado Park
The Northern California Bluegrass Society is sponsoring the July production of the musical Big River — The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn at the Granada Theater in Hollister by the San Benito Stage Company.
The musical is a benefit to fund facilities improvements including restroom upgrades at Bolado Park in Tres Pinos — site of the annual NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival.
“Big River” — featuring the music of famed Nashville songwriter Roger Miller — is the all-time leading “roots music” Broadway musical.
Performances will be held throughout this month: Friday & Saturday evenings on July 6-7, 13-14, 20-21, 27-27, and Sunday afternoons on July 8 & 22.
