Two Weekends Left: Big River Musical In Hollister

The Northern California Bluegrass Society supports the production of the musical Big River — The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn at the Granada Theater in Hollister by the San Benito Stage Company.
The musical is a benefit to fund facilities improvements including restroom upgrades at Bolado Park in Tres Pinos — site of the annual NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival.
The concluding performances will take place this weekend and next, with Friday-Saturday evening shows on July 20 & 21 and July 27 & 28 and a matinee show this Sunday, July 22.
“Big River” — featuring the well-known characters from Mark Twain and the music of Nashville songwriter Roger Miller — was a popular “roots musical” on Broadway.
