The Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival will be featured on the radio as we get ready for the Thursday-Sunday, August 9-12 gathering at Bolado Park in Tres Pinos (7 miles south of Hollister).

THURSDAY, August 2

KZSU-Stanford (90.1FM in the Central & South Bay) and online. Host Sarah Bellum will welcome guest Michael Hall from 6:00-9:00pm on the “That’s Not Bluegrass Show!” with music from GOF bands and lots of info on the festival. NCBS will be giving away tickets to see the David Grisman Bluegrass Experience in San Francisco and also for next weekend’s GOF.

SATURDAY, August 4

KALW-San Francisco (91.7FM in the North & Central Bay) and online. Host Peter Thompson of “Bluegrass Signal” 6:30-8:00pm will feature music from the 2012 Good Old Fashioned bands and have festival details.

SUNDAY, August 5

KPFA-Berkeley (94.1FM in Northern California) and online. Host Tom Diamant of “Panhandle Country” 3:00-5:00pm will feature GOF music and give away tickets to the festival.

KCSS-Turlock (91.9 FM in the Central Valley) and online. Uncle John Gwinner will feature music from the upcoming 2012 GOF and provide festival details during the “FAT Sunday Program” 3:00-6:00pm.
