Two Week Reminder: The last day for orders to be received for Discount Advance Donations for the October 12-14, 2012 NCBS Jake’s Brown Barn Bluegrass Reunion in Gilroy is September 23.

The 7th annual reunion will be hosted by The Music Medics and The Quesenberry Family, and is widely supported by the South Bay bluegrass community as a memorial to festival founder Jake Quesenberry. The Reunion is sponsored by the Northern California Bluegrass Society and Redwood Bluegrass Associates, and is assisted by Carl Pagter of the California Bluegrass Association.

Brown Barn Radio Monday: Doug Franklin will join Michael Hall on Mike Russell’s Monday Night Bluegrass radio program, 6:00-9:00pm September 10, on KKUP 91.5FM in the South Bay and Monterey Bay areas, to discuss the upcoming Brown Barn gathering. In addition, Michael Gaither will be the live musical guest to perform his original song about 9/11.
