NCBS Welcomes Brookdale Bluegrass At Costanoa Lodge March 8-9
The Northern California Bluegrass Society will welcome a new bluegrass festival to Coastside San Mateo County on March 8-9, 2013.
The Brookdale Bluegrass Festival At Coastanoa will be presented by Eric Burman and Brookdale Bluegrass and held just off of Highway One near Pescadero, south of Half Moon Bay and north of Santa Cruz.
Peter Rowan will headline the first annual event.
The luxury camping resort features a variety of accomodations: lodge rooms, RV camping, permanent tent bungalows on platforms, and regular tent camping.
Other facilities include a restaurant, store, outdoor and indoor stages, very nice restrooms for campers, and indoor and outdoor jam space.
Costanoa connects to hiking, biking and equestrian trails, plus coastal access.
There are numerous state parks, local parks, and open space preserves nearby.
The Brookdale Bluegrass Festivals have been held since 1998, first at the now-closed Brookdale Lodge and then in downtown Boulder Creek.
