The family of the late bluegrass musician and sound engineer Douglas Clark has suggested that donations can be made to the NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund in his honor.

Clark was a San Jose native who grew up in Salinas. He played many musical instruments and performed with the bluegrass band Backcountry. He did the sound work for concerts at the Aromas Grange in Aromas, as well as at other Monterey area music and dance venues,

He is survived by his wife Michelle Faeth and daughters Rachel and Laura. A celebration of Doug’s life will be held at the Aromas Grange this Saturday afternoon, September 26.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization aka the Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society, accepts tax-deductible donations and disburses scholarships for deserving music camp students. Donations to the NCBS fund are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Donors should consult their tax advisors. The Federal Tax ID No. is 94-2907716.
