On Saturday, May 20, 2017, Redwood City will celebrate its 150th Anniversary as a city with a FREE celebration, starting with a bluegrass music concert featuring 27strings and The Stoney Mountain Ramblers on the Main Street Stage in downtown Redwood City.
The bluegrass begins at Noon in an area where multiple restaurants offer outdoor seating with a great view of the stage — perfect for a relaxed lunch outing with friends. Other seating is also available if you don’t wish to eat during the 2-hour show. Other music will follow on the Main Street and two other stages throughout the afternoon and evening.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society helped bring bluegrass music to the historical party and the NCBS Information Booth will be there to welcome everyone during the bluegrass show.
