Each paid member of the Northern California Bluegrass Society receives a free want ad each month in Bluegrass By The Bay magazine. The ad is a good way to advertise lessons, instruments, jams, band CDs, band member openings, and other items of interest to fellow Society members. NCBS members registered on the website can now download the June issue of Bluegrass By The Bay from the Members Area. Subscribers to the paper edition should expect to find it in their mailboxes sometime next week.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society’s monthly membership magazine Bluegrass By The Bay comes in either “printed/mailed” or “.pdf/online” formats. The choice is up to the individual NCBS member and can be changed anytime. NCBS was the nation’s first bluegrass organization to offer this option. Not sure which one you want? BBB editors (Jessica and Stewart Evans) bluegrassbythebay (at) gmail (dot) com can explain the advantages of each format.

The May issue of Bluegrass by the Bay is now available to NCBS members online, just in time to plan how you’ll celebrate Worldwide Bluegrass Music Month. Members subscribing to the traditional paper version should find it in their mailboxes soon.
