15 — Last Day To Purchase Discount Advance Tickets To Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival (NCBS Member Discount).
AUGUST
6 — Last Day For Mailed Ballots To Be Received For NCBS Election.
8-11 — 20th Annual NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival.
10 — NCBS Board Of Directors Election At GOF Festival.
SEPTEMBER
24-28 — International Bluegrass Music Association World Of Bluegrass (NCBS Member Discount).
OCTOBER
11-13 — Jake’s Brown Barn Bluegrass Reunion (NCBS-welcomed).

The annual election for the Northern California Bluegrass Society Board Of Directors will be held at the Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival at Bolado Park in Tres Pinos on Saturday, August 10, 2013, 10:00am-5:00pm and by mail.
Candidate Statements are due to (Nancie Barker) nanciebar (at) msn (dot) com, co-editor of Bluegrass By The Bay magazine, by June 1, 2013, for publication in the July-August issue.

Three Month Reminder: The deadline for Northern California Bluegrass Society Members to receive a deep discount to the big international bluegrass convention is July 1, 2013.
The NCBS is a longtime organizational member of the International Bluegrass Music Association and Northern California Bluegrass Society Members receive the IBMA Member Discount for the IBMA World Of Bluegrass, set for Raleigh, North Carolina on September 24-28, 2013.
