Northern California Bluegrass Awards

The Northern California Bluegrass Awards are presented during Bluegrass on Broadway. Here is the complete list of award recipients. In some categories there are two recipients in the same year due to ties.

Three Week Reminder: Second Round Ballots from Northern California Bluegrass Society Members for the 2013 Northern California Bluegrass Awards are due on November 30, 2012.

The Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013, 3:00-5:00pm, as part of the FREE NCBS Bluegrass On Broadway Festival in Redwood City.

NCBS Bluegrass On Broadway Set For January 25-27, 2013 In Redwood City

The Northern California Bluegrass Society’s 6th Annual Bluegrass On Broadway Festival will be held January 25-27, 2013 in Redwood City.

The event will include the Northern California Bluegrass Awards on January 26 and the NCBS International Bluegrass Music Museum Film Festival on January 27.

The FREE festival is made possible with principal financial support from the Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission, the Redwood City Public Library, and The Tapestry Church.

The deadline for submitting independent bluegrass documentary films for the film festival is October 31, 2012.
