Boulder Creek Bluegrass & Old Timey Festivals

Put on by Eric & Barbra Burman and sponsored by the NCBS, the Brookdale Bluegrass Festivals were wintertime indoor festivals held between 1999 and 2009 at the now-closed Brookdale Lodge . The Winter 2009 Festival was held in Bonny Doon. The festivals are now held in Boulder Creek with the main stage at Scopazzi’s Restaurant.  The events are now known as the Boulder Creek Bluegrass & Old Timey Festival and is held three times each year, in March, July, and December. NCBS To Welcome Pete Wernick Jam Camp To Costanoa Lodge In 2015

The Northern California Bluegrass Society will welcome the return of the Pete Wernick Jam Camp in March 2015.

The camp will be presented by Brookdale Bluegrass at Costanoa Lodge, leading into the Spring 2015 Brookdale Bluegrass Festival At Costanoa.

The camp will run Tuesday-Friday, March 4-7 and the festival will be held Friday-Saturday, March 7-8, 2015.

Costanoa Lodge & Campground is near the town of Pescadero off Highway One in Coastside San Mateo County.

Brookdale Bluegrass Announces Spring Festival At Costanoa March 7-8, 2015

Brookdale Bluegrass has announced that the Spring 2015 Brookdale Bluegrass Festival will be held Friday-Saturday, March 7-8 at Costanoa Lodge near Pescadero on the coast in southern San Mateo County. A jam camp will lead into the festival.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes the festival to the Bay Area. More details will be announced soon.

Brookdale Bluegrass has announced the dates for its next Winter Festival to be held December 12-13, 2014.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society will welcome the event, to be held at the Costanoa Lodge.

Costanoa Lodge (and adjacent campground) is near the town of Pescadero in southern coastside San Mateo County. The lodge is 25 miles south of Half Moon Bay and 25 miles north of Santa Cruz on Highway One.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society will welcome both the winter and spring events to the Costanoa Lodge & Campground near Pescadero. Details will be announced soon!

The first Brookdale Bluegrass Festival was held in 1998 at the old Brookdale Lodge in Brookdale, and has been held multiple times each year since then. Costanoa has been the festival home since 2013.

All You Need To Know To Go To The Brookdale Bluegrass & Old Timey Festival At Costanoa This Weekend

The Festival: The Brookdale Bluegrass & Old Timey Festival At Costanoa continues the Brookdale festival tradition that dates back to 1998 at the old Brookdale Lodge. The 2014 event will be held at Costanoa Lodge just off of Highway One, near Pescadero in Coastside San Mateo County. The festival will be held on Friday-Sunday, March 7-9, and like all past Brookdale events, is welcomed by the NCBS.

Tickets: Advance Tickets are available online until early Friday morning. Tickets will be available at the door beginning Friday afternoon.  The festival is not sold out; however, sales are excellent, so early arrival and purchase is recommended. Ticket Prices: $2-Day– $80, Friday — $35, Saturday — $65.

From The San Francisco Bay Area: Go west on Highway 92 to Half Moon Bay, then left (south) on Highway 1 for 25 miles. From Santa Cruz: Go north on Highway 1 for 25 miles.

Costanoa Lodge is south of the town of Pescadero, halfway between Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz, off the east side of Highway 1. The address is 2001 Rossi Road, Pescadero, CA 94060.

Food, Drink, Services: The high-end lodge offers a nice restaurant and bar and a camp store for your convenience. The nearby town of Pescadero has several restaurants and stores, plus a gas station.
