Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair To Present The Naked Bootleggers May 2 At Duck Pond Stage

naked-bootleggers-logo-bwbglogoThe Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair will present The Naked Bootleggers on Saturday, May 2 at the Duck Pond Stage in San Lorenzo Park, Santa Cruz.

The FREE afternoon gathering has been the official opening day of the outdoor bluegrass season on the first Saturday of May since 1986, and is brought to you by NCBS/SCBS.

Other bands include the Harmony Grits, Eddie DuCommun Band, The Down Beets, and the True Life Troubadours.

Food, spring sunshine, and a raffle with tickets for summer bluegrass events will make the afternoon complete for you and your friends.

The Noon-6:00pm fair has been held on the first Saturday of May since 1986.

The True Life Troubadours (Boulder Creek) are set to perform at the FREE Saturday, May 2, 2015 Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair.

The relaxed afternoon fair has been held on the first Saturday of May since 1986 and is presented by the Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society. Five bands will play throughout the afternoon at the Duck Pond Stage in San Lorenzo Park.

This beloved Rite Of Spring features bluegrass music, springtime picnicing, a raffle with tickets to upcoming summer bluegrass events, food, ducks on the pond, and your friends!

The FREE event will run Noon-6:00pm at the Duck Pond Stage in San Lorenzo Park next to the courthouse in Santa Cruz.

The relaxed afternoon affair will kick off the outdoor bluegrass music season with music, food, a raffle, information about upcoming festivals and concerts, grass, trees, blue skies, friends…and ducks. The first Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair was held in 1986.
