Berkeley Community Media is airing musical performances from the 2014 Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair as part of the station’s Heads Up Berkeley television program.

The portion of the show featuring the Eddie Ducommun Band with Meghan Leslie, Curtis Leslie, Luke Abbott & Dave Magram is currently available on Channel 28 (Berkeley Community Television) and online.

The one-hour concert program was filmed and produced by Beebee Simmons.

The Naked Bootleggers and The Harmony Grits are on the bill, with more bands TBA.

The Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair is coming to the Duck Pond Stage in San Lorenzo Park off of Ocean Avenue next to the courthouse in Santa Cruz on Saturday, May 2, 2015 beginning at Noon.

The FREE afternoon gathering is an annual Rite of Spring for bluegrass folks.

The event is presented by the Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society. See you there!

bglogoThe FREE NCBS/SCBS Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair is set for Saturday afternoon, May 2, 2015 at the Duck Pond Stage, San Lorenzo Park, Santa Cruz.

The oldest Society event is a great way to kick off the outdoor bluegrass season in Northern California!

May 2 will be a big day of bluegrass — Della Mae will play later that evening in Mountain View in a Redwood Bluegrass Associates concert that will be welcomed by the NCBS. Make your plans to enjoy both events!
