Saturday, March 24, 7:00pm

View flier

Kick off your shoes! Set a spell and join us for a knee-slappin' night of bluegrass and more! Featuring Healing Stream, with special guests Commodore Callahan.

Tickets are $10 per person. All proceeds will help fund Backpackpalooza (our backpack giveaway to children in need). Purchase tickets at the door, or email/call in your order and we'll hold them at Will Call (info@burlumc.org or 650-344-6321).

Here is a review of our last bluegrass concert in May, from The Burlingame Voice:

Bluegrass in B'game

B'game is often called "Boring game" by those who wish there was more night life in town. I'm definitely one who misses venues like the Tavern Grill and Towle's when they had music three or four nights a week. So a bluegrass concert at UMC on Saturday night was a welcome draw.

Headliners Healing Stream put on a great 16 song set of they call Gospel bluegrass. Four members of the local Morgenstern, including dad Kevin and lead singer Hailey, were joined by locals Don Kane and Will Stevens to put on a great show. Kevin's bio includes stints with Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter and tours with the Jerry Garcia Band and Bonnie Raitt. Another local gem!
