I'm not familiar w/the setup at GOF.  We'll be in a trailer and my question is whether to go dry, electric or full RV.  I wish to avoid being sidelined too far from the action, but electric would be nice.   For two days we can manage w/o full hook up which I'm not even sure is available at this late date.

Can someone advise me of the “lay of the land”, the location of electric and any tips regarding location?  (Made the Hicks campout, so I've seen the park.)  I'll just assume the weather is hot and dry so A/C is probably a nice alternative, yes?  What about generators?  Are they OK? I assume it is also probably a good idea as well to bring our own shade as 1/2 the site is open field, yes?

Thanks,  Jeannette Foley

Hi Jeannette-

I'm pretty sure there are some electric-only spots in the open field, if you're not too far out.  I believe all the full hookups are on the road, which puts you fairly far from the stage, especially if you arrive later.   Generator use in the RV area is ok. There are some RV spots along the fence outlying the tent camping area: in those spots, there's no generator use permitted, but there are electrical hookups. You should really call Mike Fisher, on the rv reservation phone number, and talk to him about options.  He's a very helpful and straightforward person and he can give you all the details.

Best wishes, Jessica
