JUST A REMINDER: The deadline to enter a lesson plan in the annual
Bluegrass Lesson Plan Competition funded by the Foundation for Bluegrass
Music is November 30. Teachers, home schooling parents or college
students preparing to teach may submit lessons that utilize bluegrass
music in some way, for classes from kindergarten - 12th grade, in the
following content areas: music (instruction or appreciation), science &
math, language arts, technology, social studies) .

In addition to cash prizes for the first three places and plaques, the
1st place winner will again be invited to present his/her plan on the
Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike cruise.
