Hello Everyone,
Because of the issue of long driving distances, I've been checking with a minister of a church in the Sacramento Arden Arcade area about whether they might be interested in hosting an acoustic jam for all who enjoy acoustic bluegrass, newgrass, mountain, roots, traditional country, Hawaiian, Americana, folk, Western, Celtic, and Irish music. Open to everybody, pickers and grinners, to come and jam or sing or clap along! Musicians of all skill levels would be welcome to attend with their acoustic stringed instruments, with or without music.
The group could alternate sessions between Bluegrass/Oldtime, folk, Celtic, and singer/songwriter circle,etc. Please share your ideas of what is needed.
