The “Old Town Temecula Bluegrass Festival” is fast approaching so get ready to have some fun. Here is an update on the event..

The festival this year starts Friday night at Sweet Lumpy's BBQ with Highway 138 doing 2 sets on the patio beginning at 7:00pm. Sweet Lumpy's is located at 41915 3rd Street (corner of 3rd and Mercedes) in Old Town Temecula, CA 92590-2743. Phone: 951.694.4227. Speaking from first hand experience the food at Sweet Lumpy's is the BEST..Come on down and enjoy the music!

Starting at 7:00pm Saturday evening a special concert featuring Alan Munde Gazette, Bluegrass Etc. and The Silverado Bluegrass Band will be held at the beautiful “Old Town Temecula Community Theater” and Sunday afternoon at 3:00 pm Sligo Rags and Alan Munde Gazette will be featured in the Theatre. The Saturday evening concert is $15.00 for main seating and $10.00 for the balcony. The Sunday concert is $5.00. To order tickets online go to: http://tickets.temeculatheater.org/. Last year the Saturday night concert sold out about 2 hours before the doors opened so get your tickets early. If you order tickets online now you can choose your own seats and there are plenty of great seats left.(not that any of the seats are bad). The theatre seats around 375. Don't delay!!!

For camping reservations call 951.678.0831. Camping sites are very limited so please get your reservations early! Dry camping is $24.00 total for Friday and Saturday nights and $36.00 total if you decide to stay Thursday or Sunday night. All 4 nights would be $48.00. You can decide there for Sunday. Group camping is welcome.
