Breaking News: Peter Thompson Weekdays, California Worldfest Has New Owner, Molly Tuttle To Nashville

Here is the breaking news in the world of Northern California bluegrass music:

Peter Thompson To Host National Weekday Bluegrass Radio Show

40-year radio veteran Peter Thompson will host a one hour national bluegrass radio show Monday-Friday at 8:00am Pacific Time on BluegrassCountry.org, produced by WAMU radio in Washington, DC. The program will originate from the studios of KALW in San Francisco and focus on west coast bluegrass musicians. Previously, a portion of Thompson’s 20-year-old “Bluegrass Signal” program on KALW (6:30-8:00pm Saturdays) had been rebroadcast on WAMU’s national online service. The local Saturday program will be unaffected by Thompson’s new duties. The new program launches on March 2.

Molly Tuttle To Nashville

Molly Tuttle of The Tuttles With A. J. Lee, a Palo Alto native and a recent graduate of the Berklee College of Music, is now a resident of Nashville, TN.
